The Friends of the Appleton Fire Department was founded and organized as a not-for-profit, charitable IRS designation 501(c)3 in 2011, with the purpose of supporting the safety, health, education of firefighters and the projects and programs they provide to the community.
The Friends of the Appleton Fire Department Board of Directors consists of champions in our community. The Board also consists of two Appleton Fire Department members (who serve the department as the Public Education Finance Team). The chief of the fire department also serves as a non-voting ex officio member.
